Lake Medical Imaging in The Villages, Florida, is the first independent outpatient imaging center in the nation to be designated a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology. The Problem
With an increasing need to provide better ordering processes and results delivery to their referral practices, Lake Medical Imaging sought a solution that could work with their existing picture archiving communication system (PACS). Having an extensive referral base means having to accommodate numerous different EMR systems.
